This high-energy pinewood-style racing event has quickly become one of our favorite traditions — bringing together creativity, competition, and community for an unforgettable afternoon of racing, laughs, and bragging rights.

Participants are invited to build, customize, and race their own derby cars as they compete head-to-head for prizes and Firewood Derby glory. Whether you’re a serious competitor or just in it for the fun, this event is open to racers of all skill levels. Car kits are available for purchase at The Siren Tavern, making it easy for anyone to get involved.

Expect roaring competition, flowing drinks, plenty of trash talk, and a packed tavern atmosphere full of friends, families 21+, and racing fans. Spectators are absolutely welcome, so come cheer on your favorite racers and enjoy one of Seattle’s most unique neighborhood events.
